Feb 4th Week

Slow last week. Maybe more direction this week but focus needs to be on quality.


MONDAY

Small gap down thankfully giving me a chance still to maybe get in some names. Down is the side. 

One of those days market didnt give me anytime to get in something. Pullback came, but once these stocks lost vwap I wanted a retest, never got it. Lost through HTF MAs like butter. Not my conditions. 

TUESDAY

Now big gap up ruining short setups. Not making it easy out here for me. Still gotta be super patient

Super choppy morning.

Having FOMO feelings. Still need to be super patient, when it shows up ill see it. But need to wait

And distraction city. My own fault, couldve made the phone call later but missed CAT and SE






Weak downtrending markets trade differently. They are fast and do not give you much time at all to get in where you want to get in. The key is still VWAP. When the stock reclaims vwap lower, I need my usual stall/pullback for at least 1 minute to watch the structure form, but after that, it is go time and I need to be ready to enter that trade asap if it starts going. 



MAJOR distraction week. I did not trade last few days. Have to reset start again next week.

11/30 DRC

 Last day of the month. Not much trading exactly to talk about. Big issue last week was speed. I was slow in almost all cases. Trying not to look too much into it. Took a few weeks off, its expected to take a bit to get back into the swing of things. Risk was main focus as a goal going forward. Correct size, consistent risk throughout every trade and setup for consistent results. That I did good with. Main things to focus on 1. Following entry criteria, making sure I trade what I am supposed to 2. Using correct size to reflect risk already determined by setup 3. Must be faster with ^^^ 4. Cut losses fast on adds. In and out, dont wait. 5. Follow management rules, up 1R/2R etc. 6. Take profits in 3rds.  7. Enter trade with small size if it is leaving without me.
