Solid day yesterday, good gains and lots of trades. Need to be extra cautious today. Times like these are usually when I start getting a little sloppy and taking anything that looks good. Primary goal today is to take nothing that isnt clean and clear, showing strength above HTF levels.
SPY gapping up big today, news about trade deal blah blah blah. Market is up and I got nothing but longs im watching for today. 1 short on DKNG if it gets there. Been seeing a lot of large breakouts lately, looking for more of those today.
1. Stay patient and let the trade form before you get in. Dont take anything that isnt clear and obvious
2. Stay aggressive
3. Re enter your winning trades on deeper pullbacks for the big idea to play out.
ORCL
Strong open, slowly back to vwap + prev hod. Got a starter once I saw the buying come in and fail to make new low. Accidentally exited instead of add but got back in and added as we ticked back up.
Couldnt hold and big selling came in flushing us lower.

Opportunity came right back, it failed a breakdown and spiked back up. I got back in on a successful retest and added once we got above big offer / vwap. Looking for HOD.
SPY weak, market not strong, but ORCL holding above where it should.
We broke above TL from HOD with tiny vol kick, nothing special
SPY looked like it was going to fail a LOD break, but then started dumping lower, internals not following but ORCL pulled back to vwap.
Then we exploded higher into HOD. SPY also pulled back up strong. Waiting for HOD break to take half.
Couldnt get through 1st time, SPY also pulled down again, looking to ramp up again though, still full but stop tightened. Not giving this back.
Starting to see rel weakness and selling come in at mid .60s. SPY tight just under vwap. Internals are uptrending, but wouldnt say strong.
SPY getting above and ORCL seeing the buying come in. Stop tightened a little more. ORCL did not make new range high.
STOP is right at minor TL. Need to get out of this, warning signs are here but re entry is a must.
Hasnt given up yet, but still losing steam. Seems like we got hidden sellers too now.
Broke TL from time, not selling, came back up again. SPY still up, we have rel weakness, but not dropping. If we can get a break here should be pretty good.
Tight range from .59 to .66. Needs to break higher, we got a vol spike, hasnt broken it yet. Got it, SPY still grinding higher. Trade needs to go now. Stop tightening. Following 1min for all size.
And new HOD as SPY was downturning, Annoying. Taking half soon.
Not much of a break at all and sellers are here. Out half. Other half out soon too.
And then it rips higher. Put my half in before the candle close, wouldve given it another penny, wouldve been full size still. Really annoying.
55.89 is a huge daily breakout from earlier in the year. Could be nice.
Low vol and heald up near HOD above prev hod. Pulling down and losing TL though, stopping out if it cant hold above .70s And all out.

Much much later in day SPY totally reversed made new HOD and held it. ORCL never made a LL or lost TL and finally came into play with it. It did break lower and make a LL and break TL, but got bid up right away and I got back in with my starter and added as we ticked back up. Now looking for that .89 break. Market is completely helping.
Tried again penny above my stop, big bids are here, sellers selling. SPY sideways. Tough but waiting.
SPY now retracing lower, ORCL following and stopped out small loss.
WMT
Weak stock, did not trend lower well. Got back above prev HOD and under vwap and started drifting lower on super low vol into prev hod. SPY turned up, WMT followed I got a starter and added as we went higher. Looking for a vwap break, couldnt hold, stopped out.

Got another chance. Ripped right back up above, tested under again, and ripped up again. This time came down to level as SPY was coming up from a LOD push again, internals got a bit stronger and WMT came into it with v low vol and buying was there. Added as we ticked up. Looking for SPY to hold and keep this up move its having, but now falling down again. WMT has relative strength now.
SPY failed mini range breka lower, WMT same did not make new micro low, testing above and into vwap now. Stop tightened a bit, needs to find vol and big pop as weve been under vwap all day.
Hourly range high at .30 were just under it now. Vol now growing into this move. SPY also failing headed lower with internals.
Cant seem to do it, SPY dropped lower hard, WMT followed. Not letting this tuen into a loser, tiny win. Re entry is here, need to see HTF level in play again.
Pretty boring day, things really did not setup well for some moves. Just one of those days. Told myself at the beginning this is when I start shooting at everything and good on me for not doing it today because I would have driven myself crazy over what I could have taken.
