 What is hurting my trading the most?

-Too big of size taking large losses when they should be much smaller. 

-Taking trades that do not fit entry criteria.

-Not exiting losses faster


I have become so lazy in my trading. Simply not caring, and trading just because I feel like it.

I need better guidelines to protect me from myself, even still. 

I give myself all these rules but what the point if I dont follow them. I have no accountability for my actions.

I need to be questioning myself before every single trade. I do have the time to do it, but I dont. 

I need a better entry checklist. An entry guideline. I will have it open all day, and before every trade I will run myself through it. 


Ok I have made it. I have clear rules that tell me if I need to take the trade or avoid it. Included stop placement, and size. 


The goal today. Is 100% compliance. Entry, risk, management. 

-Every trade I take, should meet my entry criteria

-My size should reflect the max loss I want to take if stop is hit

-My losers need to be cut faster at the appropriate spot, regardless of how I feel.

not big picture but scalp, nice tight triangle, clear entry, took it and added for small win. 


ULTA

weak all day, market finally turned lower, ULTA tested higher into TL and htf lo and reject. 

Ticked up, and down to breakdown intraday point, added more

Nice flush took majority off right away, super spready low vol no reason to wait. 

PB came to vwap past entry, once we reclaimed lower I waited for action and it was buying all out small win. Will look for re entry. 


SPY

flush came, small reversal scalp win. Didnt go fast.


ROKU

weak, lost big bo level. Coiling under for some time now, MAs catching up, waiting on some kind of failure higher into it for short. 

Market turning up into vwap may help push up, gotta wait to see it. 

ZM

another great scalp setup. Clear break, no good vol though, took at 1st pullback. 



Not anything else on the day. Pretty slow, as expected. Only real miss today was a ZM short and ROKU short. Timing was just not there. No fault of mine, things just refused to give me setups at the right location at the right time in the right conditions. Not much to be done.

I want to be strict with my rules, I followed, I have no regrets. 100% compliance. All trades meant to take and managed correctly.

11/30 DRC

 Last day of the month. Not much trading exactly to talk about. Big issue last week was speed. I was slow in almost all cases. Trying not to look too much into it. Took a few weeks off, its expected to take a bit to get back into the swing of things. Risk was main focus as a goal going forward. Correct size, consistent risk throughout every trade and setup for consistent results. That I did good with. Main things to focus on 1. Following entry criteria, making sure I trade what I am supposed to 2. Using correct size to reflect risk already determined by setup 3. Must be faster with ^^^ 4. Cut losses fast on adds. In and out, dont wait. 5. Follow management rules, up 1R/2R etc. 6. Take profits in 3rds.  7. Enter trade with small size if it is leaving without me. Big adds come in only if core is at price and action I want to see.  Market looks hot. Nothing but breakouts around. Gapping down a little, recovering already though into the open.
