10/6 DRC

 Quiet day today. Not many setups at all. Looking at a few gappers today mainly for some volume action. We look to turn up, but FANG not seeing any real volume on our turn higher. Will have to see what happens if we even get to breaking points today. 

Not a day to risk anything huge. Nothing super special out there. Stuck in a lot of odd ranges at the top. SPY definitely a bit misleading. We got big buy candle to top of range, but on half the volume we had on friday. Not a great long sign. Might end up with 0 trades today and that would be fine. 

All stocks on watchlist are 2 stars so nothing real big today. Start and 50 add 50 add another 50. If it keeps working well, I dont mind adding more but itll have to prove it. 

Goal today is to take it slow. Dont force anything. Just trade at proper locations with correct risk.

Strong open. Weak pb to vwap and hi. Seeing some buying but market selling off p hard. 

Market turned and so did we with vol. Added as we went. HOD at 9.92 but looking for 10. Great cues. 

Turned back to vwap. Market dipping slightly. RVOL here above 1 but not by much so it does matter. Still seeing good tape. Added bit more as we turned up again. 

Back up to intraday bo level .89. V low vol. If we cant go now needs out. Market turning lower again. 

Tape cues great still turned up, broke added. Stop tight. HOD next. 

Market not helping whatsoever. Out tiny loss, dont need to sit and wait here for more. .

Holding vwap this whole time. Market still not showing any signs of strength but is giving me re entry opportunity. 

SPY ripped up past vwap and RAD did make new mini range high and back in and added. 

Quick flush lower on no selling. Met wit good buying added more. And again. 

Market clearly strong now. Pulled in again to bottom TL and still good buying . Added more. Stop close to same still. Should be turning point now. 

Broke mini range high into top TL. Great buying on tape. Vol is low now though, needs to find it on bust out or cutting this again. Market still up and moving higher. 

Not busting out yet, .90 decent offer taking it in. Broke added more into HOD break. Still want 10. 

Now up 1R, will be out for small loss if it come back down on me. Should not at al given market and things im seeing. Obvious problem if we dont go here. 

And we did bust. Biggest vol of day and big candle to start the break. Almost at 10, hit .98. 

Short float here is 26% and we are coming off of a huge down turn from huge breakdown of multi year triangle And recent earnings. There should be a lot of shorts getting out today. 

Got to 10. Huge offer here. Might be problem, taking partial on 1min lo.

Broke with even bigger vol. Still following. 

Big sell spiked us lower. Took 1/3 off worse than what I wanted but fine. Market going parabolic higher. Giving it 9ma for next partial, or all out if it cant hold above prev hod at .92

Did lose it, but was kind enough to not drop and able to hold on for new retest of HOD. Market turning lower. 

This new push higher on v low vol. Tape was not that great our way up here. 

Found it on break though. Now have over ext TL to work with. Almost hit it. If we do I take other partial earlier. If not still following 9ma. 

Broke it again but now 20ma caught up for more S. Still taking if breaks it and candle lo. Vol v high up here and holding.  Couldnt stick it though, other partial taken. Last to ride. 

There was minor TL break as well. Crashed lower into other one from LOD. Seeing buying so far. 

Collapsed. Disappointing. 

Sort of made error. Was up 3R so stop should be at +1R. Ended up small win on that last bit.

Starter on bo of hod + htf bo level. 

Solid break with vol. Market got weak though and ual failed it back to vwap. Might be out soon. 

All out under vwap. 


AYX

Gap name. Getting super tight around vwap, Failed lower, into top tl and bo spot into more bo spots. Looking long scalp. Ended up being a short. 

Pulled back to range lo and pmkt range, made new range, tested above, failed. Market getting weak. May be short. 

And I did get it and short. Buyers here buying but not losing anything on offer. 

Just kidding. As soon as I get in, thats when they all break and we bust higher.

And as soon as I get out. Thats when we decide to drop it all again and then some. Not in. 

Now back in, tested up again, rejected lower and in. 

Dropped more and added. Spiked back up on me. Have to deal. Right to breakdown point at .50

Broke it and into PT at 142, broke past. 

Spiked back up to breakeven. Not taking L all out. 

BNTX

Another gapper. Market getting extremely weak. Seeing big selloff and we have nice range breakdown. Took on break. Was coiling right at pmkt lo range. 

Didnt flush right away, stalled, pulled up but saw more sell. 

Saw small pb, then dumped it lower. Got add in barely. Recovered whole flush right away. Back to breakeven. Stop is reduced. Market still v weak. Expecting a lot of longs to be getting out here. 

Ripped me. All out 


Calling it a day. Not much out here looking good. Ill sit and look for reversals if we get over extended lower, but already seems to be bottoming out and looking to pull higher.


RAD was obv best trade of day. Disappointing how fast it pulled back. No way back into it, still hasnt made new HOD or given me any kind of re entry. But win was good. Happy to finally catch a decent win. 

UAL loss was fine. AYX also sucks, mega pullback giving back half dollar of profits in seconds. BNTX same case. Annoying. But is what it is. 


Risk management was good today. I protected the downside in every trade. Limited losses, and maximized opportunity. Im down only .15 cents today. So while I didnt make anything, I capitalized on opportunity I saw. The trade will come soon enough that I get what I want and walk away with a big win. As long as I keep trading to keep losers small I will be alright. Today is not that day.

11/30 DRC

 Last day of the month. Not much trading exactly to talk about. Big issue last week was speed. I was slow in almost all cases. Trying not to look too much into it. Took a few weeks off, its expected to take a bit to get back into the swing of things. Risk was main focus as a goal going forward. Correct size, consistent risk throughout every trade and setup for consistent results. That I did good with. Main things to focus on 1. Following entry criteria, making sure I trade what I am supposed to 2. Using correct size to reflect risk already determined by setup 3. Must be faster with ^^^ 4. Cut losses fast on adds. In and out, dont wait. 5. Follow management rules, up 1R/2R etc. 6. Take profits in 3rds.  7. Enter trade with small size if it is leaving without me. Big adds come in only if core is at price and action I want to see.  Market looks hot. Nothing but breakouts around. Gapping down a little, recovering already though into the open.
