8/28 DRC

Looking like another super busy day. Tons to look at. Been the theme this week it seems. Beatdowns popping, ATH in big names. Now the question is are we failing?

SPY big doji reversal setup. VIX popping higher ready to explode it looks like. Lots of failed breakouts out there again so my trades are 5050 long and short setups.

Trading has gone well this week. Just need to keep doing what im doing. Stay patient, let it come to me, no need to settle for anything questionable.

Going to have to leave early today. Will have no time this weekend until late sunday to even get to the desk to work on a review. Its the end of the month so I do want to have all my stuff in order and ready to go, so I am looking for 1 solid winner today so I can get an early start on filling out my numbers. 

1. Let it come to you. Dont need to be first jumping in front of weakness
2. Follow rules.
3. Size up on best trades.

IQ

Solid open, strong tape. amde HOD on v low vol and back to htf where I look for long. 

Got the dip and in. Of course as soon as we see strength, SPY starts dumping. We are ticking higher though and added more. 

Up to HOD, looking for bigger breakout above 19.75 for this. Big earning gap to fill. Made new HOD.

And right to it we are there. Lets see if we can rip. There is nothing here til maybe 19.80 then 20, then 20.10 

And right at that .82 we are stalling. Huge vol increase maybe able to get by. Vol dead on 2nd candle now. SPY not helping or hurting. 

Seller showed, out majority. 

Gave a mini pivot to use, if we have any kind of fail here im all out on a hold under it. 9sma almost caught up, holding higher here is good, but not willing to give it up. 

And we snapped hard above. I have over extension TL i can use for rest of out if it gets there. That or 20 or that recent pivot at .78 In fact we are making a rising wedge here. Need to look to bail.

Very tight here, well see what happens if we lost bottom TL. Still grinding up. 

As high and tight as you can get. Breaking upside, going to take all off on 1min low. 

Well at this rate looks like well hit 20 with over extension from the open candle. Either way all out soon. 

Huge sell here 60k. Avg candle on 1min doing ~10k. Wow ripped it. Still following. 

And all out under 20. 



And holy hell, we decided to go parabolic after im all out f me.





Well I did say 1 trade and Id be done. But its only 30min in. I still see more. 

CCL

An hour later, CCL setting up. Will be the last thing I look at as a lot of names have dropped off and not gonna give me anything. Just waiting to see a pb here to prev hod for long. Cruise and air build under vwap for a while, now spiking back above with vol and other beatdowns following the pop higher. Hoping for a pb to retest at vwap and HTF + TL from lod.

Failed lower under vwap and prev hod several rimes. Keeps spiking above and this most recent way above and holding, waiting for vwap test for long. 



Should of just called it. Sat around for an hour doing nothing. Work to do quickly before I gotta go. Monthly probably wont be posted until 







In no way did I expect IQ to do what it did. When I was trading it, it was only at .4rvol and lagging behind other strength leaders in the day. I followed my rules so I shouldnt feel bad about missing it but damn hurts to see that.

11/30 DRC

 Last day of the month. Not much trading exactly to talk about. Big issue last week was speed. I was slow in almost all cases. Trying not to look too much into it. Took a few weeks off, its expected to take a bit to get back into the swing of things. Risk was main focus as a goal going forward. Correct size, consistent risk throughout every trade and setup for consistent results. That I did good with. Main things to focus on 1. Following entry criteria, making sure I trade what I am supposed to 2. Using correct size to reflect risk already determined by setup 3. Must be faster with ^^^ 4. Cut losses fast on adds. In and out, dont wait. 5. Follow management rules, up 1R/2R etc. 6. Take profits in 3rds.  7. Enter trade with small size if it is leaving without me. Big adds come in only if core is at price and action I want to see.  Market looks hot. Nothing but breakouts around. Gapping down a little, recovering already though into the open.
