Not a damn thing again today. 1st trade was ROKU 3 hours into the day. Not clean clear setups so nothing to do for me.
Entered today with a pretty small watch list. Nothing ever gave me anything worthwhile. MSFT drifted higher all day never gave me a decent pullback to find a good place to enter. SHOP lost the HTF level I wanted, then reclaimed VWAP 10 points above it so nothing notable for me there either.
It was another no pullback day so if I wanted a win I just had to join somewhere in the trend and expect it to hopefully continue rising.
Just looking at SPY there were so many fake breaks one way or the other, wedged in between two significant points, couldnt ever really 'see' a good time to put on an LT.
Scalps were completely out of the question, didnt see any good volume cues or fake moves in the other beta names I was looking for so just means sit on my hands. Happy with how I didnt trade today. No need to force anything.
ROKU
ROKU retraced its HTF channel, failed a range break lower, got back into it with good volume and huge buy candle. Was coming up on a TL break as well as weekly range break, looked for longs.
Looked good in the 1st 10 minutes of the day but lost the level I wanted. Ended up waiting all day before it fianlly failed a move lower, got back above vwap with some volume. Thought wed see a good short squeeze, SPY still ripping higher. No luck.
Almost added to it, tape looked good for a moment, Buyers would flash orders then take them off, sellers kept appearing as we ticked higher so bailed out before it turned on me. Traded it exactly how I wanted so no regrets.
