7/20 DRC

Coming off of a rough week last week. Main focus needs to be taking trades at prev hod/lod or breakout levels. Nothing else. Dont need to think to much about it. Just do it.

New risk plan coming into play. Got my favorites ready and ready to take whatever the market gives. Expecting the day to do whatever, but expecting myself to take it slow and trade with 100% compliance.

SPY still in the make or break area. Keep building high and tight getting real close to either a huge breakout, or a spectacular failure. Should be a fun week.

relative strength. 10 star. Not favorite, but still sizing up. Prev hod + vwap on top. Waiting for action.

Well missed my chance, ripped up to HOD going for scalp. 10star and in. Great tape cues. Into D bo and broke it. ATH just 2 points away. Follow PT rules.

SPY also breaking out after consolidating all morning, should give more gas.

Nope. Spread absolutely wrecked me. Just dropped a point with no trades in between.

Quick reversal. Got the borrows as the trade happened to had to wait on pb and got it and in. Added on ticks lower, looked real good had tape action. No go.

NFLX

Pretty strong, got above mid day R zone from friday earnings day. Held above a while now dipping under it into vwap. Maybe a long here, but market seems like it has a long way to pullback.

Much later it trickled higher and sold off strong and fast into vwap. Not a great look but waiting on tape.

Didnt hold anything. Will wait for reclaim. Can setup again.

Later on sold off and consolidated around VWAP. Failed a break higher into mid day R. Very low vol. Above vwap. Starting to roll over. Will have to look for return to short. Setup just wasnt quite there. Needed a definitive failed push higher.




Nothing special today. Told myself LULU wasnt a good long because of its lack of strength when everything ripping higher. Came tight to prev lod, failed lower and turned straight up 10 points. Was best trade of day and I said no. Sucks. Dont blame myself for not taking it. I see no volume cues, weakness, failed breakouts. Iunno, was just one of those trades. On to tomorrow.

11/30 DRC

 Last day of the month. Not much trading exactly to talk about. Big issue last week was speed. I was slow in almost all cases. Trying not to look too much into it. Took a few weeks off, its expected to take a bit to get back into the swing of things. Risk was main focus as a goal going forward. Correct size, consistent risk throughout every trade and setup for consistent results. That I did good with. Main things to focus on 1. Following entry criteria, making sure I trade what I am supposed to 2. Using correct size to reflect risk already determined by setup 3. Must be faster with ^^^ 4. Cut losses fast on adds. In and out, dont wait. 5. Follow management rules, up 1R/2R etc. 6. Take profits in 3rds.  7. Enter trade with small size if it is leaving without me. Big adds come in only if core is at price and action I want to see.  Market looks hot. Nothing but breakouts around. Gapping down a little, recovering already though into the open.
