7/6 DRC

Back at it again. Picking up where we left off. Was mainly focusing on taking best setups and nothing else. Now that ive been on break for a week that needs to be goal number 1. Sometimes I get a bit antsy trying to get back into things too fast, I take poor trades. I remember what I was doing best so just need to get right back to it.

1. Take trades that are clearly above and holding above HTF levels.
2. Follow PT rules. Let it be.

SPY gapping up pretty big, was not expecting this. China names are really gapping higher will have to look for longs later in the week as theyll probably get sold some today. Will always go with the flow, looked ready to rollover lower, but complete opposite happening. Either way longs are easiest so far.

Reversal. Solid move and setup, great start, but quickly turned back higher on me and lost a good chunk on slippage.

Got me again, solid setup with tape, got me out on quick pullback back up, then decided to dump without me. Then news came out.

Strong open, slow grind back to HTF levels the rest of the open on low vol. We made nice base and broke lower, but stopped quickly and saw no more selling.

Waited for tape and back above range and got both and got in..

Dump came shortly after alongside SPY dump. Out and lost about .10cents past stop.

Another reversal. Good setup good tape action. Nice pop but tape changed right away as we got a bit higher and it came back on me. Good exit.



MORNING

Well quickly enough im down 235$. Tough. Trades were not bad setups at all, risk management was fine. The exits were what killed me. 1st 5 losses could be cut in half if I was aware/quick enough to exit. Is what it is, waiting for the next good trade.


Well today was pretty quick and uneventful. FANG names just straight up, never saw it coming, no way to get in on them without feeling like im chasing. Its fine to stay away when nothing makes sense. Too bad it never got to the point that it did make sense.

As for my trades, I went back and watched the video. 1st reversal I was too slow to exit, didnt put order in where I should and gave it too much time before I got out much later. Red day is alright but it should be smaller. On to tomorrow.

11/30 DRC

 Last day of the month. Not much trading exactly to talk about. Big issue last week was speed. I was slow in almost all cases. Trying not to look too much into it. Took a few weeks off, its expected to take a bit to get back into the swing of things. Risk was main focus as a goal going forward. Correct size, consistent risk throughout every trade and setup for consistent results. That I did good with. Main things to focus on 1. Following entry criteria, making sure I trade what I am supposed to 2. Using correct size to reflect risk already determined by setup 3. Must be faster with ^^^ 4. Cut losses fast on adds. In and out, dont wait. 5. Follow management rules, up 1R/2R etc. 6. Take profits in 3rds.  7. Enter trade with small size if it is leaving without me.
