Airlines Swing

 







UAL and AAL,

Airlines been very tight for sometime now, making falling wedges. 

I just happened to be looking at them at the exact right time. I noticed JETS had calls come in, UAL and AAL were at great spots with back testing old bo zones. 

I saw JETS had big buying at its bottom + TL S and that was my cue to start looking.

We started curling up and I got in both and added same times.

Went parabolic. Huge move right to new HOD and starting D breakouts. Took off some because I need to take some gains now locking in at least a breakeven trade. I am big. 

MY 1 AND ONLY CONCERN. Is DAL has earnings tomorrow. Most certainly will influence what is to come. 

Made a 2nd run up with big vol. 

3rd run up into the bell, closing just short of HOD. We will have to see what tomorrow DAL earnings brings up. Technically speaking, we look great for more uspide. 

2nd

Big gap up, took off on weakness as soon as we found 1 min top to start day, both moved higher, took another bit off at PT levels. Letting rest go. 

ATR moves in each to start this day with no pb to vwap. Starting to turn again as are indices and others. Taking more off. 

Both held strong and closed strong and trending in AH. Looks like more, defending bottom TLs, almost parabolic in LTF

3rd

bailed on UAL during the weakness. AAL held on just enough for me to stay in it. Who industry took a good hit, looks like big failed breakouts.

11/30 DRC

 Last day of the month. Not much trading exactly to talk about. Big issue last week was speed. I was slow in almost all cases. Trying not to look too much into it. Took a few weeks off, its expected to take a bit to get back into the swing of things. Risk was main focus as a goal going forward. Correct size, consistent risk throughout every trade and setup for consistent results. That I did good with. Main things to focus on 1. Following entry criteria, making sure I trade what I am supposed to 2. Using correct size to reflect risk already determined by setup 3. Must be faster with ^^^ 4. Cut losses fast on adds. In and out, dont wait. 5. Follow management rules, up 1R/2R etc. 6. Take profits in 3rds.  7. Enter trade with small size if it is leaving without me. Big adds come in only if core is at price and action I want to see.  Market looks hot. Nothing but breakouts around. Gapping down a little, recovering already though into the open.
