TLRY Swing

 



Pot stocks held up strong during sell off yesterday. Today sideways building all day.

TLRY not originally on watch but appeared to me as I looked at it again. Made big TL from HOD down to prev hi level as it build above. Clear spot for entry and super tight risk. Market just failed a breakdown too. 

Came up fast on me, once we broke TL, monster squeeze on huge vol. Chased it, but in. Waiting on solid pb to add. 

Added again as we dipped to prev hi, and made new high. 

Coiled very well, no real pbs. Getting above All MAs. Will add with more strength. Others popping too.

Only MA above us is the big ol 200ema right at big bo level too. 

Structure is very clean on this name. Lots of confluence. 

All pot names popping.

All names really popping, cant add yet. 

And we all pulled in, TLRY to retest BO level and held. Came back up with mini range, added on break of it. 

Closing at HOD. Saw some huge buys run through this all during trade. Clearly a hold. Rest of pot stocks looking strong too with good moves. 

2nd day

Huge gap up for pot names. TLRY seems to be on its own, names like ACB and CGC are synced up pretty good, TLRY doing its own thing. 

Ive got 20 contracts, depending what we do on open ill take off 5 to cover risk. Plan is wait 1 min, take them off on new low.

Chance for some real runners here, lots of strength, no reason to bail on it all on a gap and pulldown retest. 

In the past, these big gap ups, ran even more. But looking at PA, they did all pull in to start the day before running. 

If we hold under 10.57 I will take another 5 off, and under 10 all out. 

Dumped into the bell along with others, then starter showing rel strength. Definitely doing its own thing, still following rules. 

Dumped at open, took 1/4. Ripped back up, and then back down to LOD again. Market strong

Pot names stong still, coiling nicely, will hold for more. Were v tight now

Cant break higher, broke lower alongside other pot names. Stuck, will hold. 

Made new LOD into pmkt bo level, others dumping hard still. 

And bounced, this is the part where prev gaps have dropped, then ripped higher, so lets see it. 

V odd action, did come up n ear HOD, as did other names. Then collapsed again, as did other names. Back under vwap. Still waiting.

Failed again as did others. Starting to capitulate lower, stuck waiting for pb to take more off. 

Ad came up to vwap + TL as did other pot names, if we turn lower and roll over which look like we might, will take off. 

But didnt do it, almost did, reclaimed and ripped up again, now showing rel strength. 

And we make new HOD. 

And we did break pmkt hi + HTF zone. Almost seems like a news candle.

And it is a news candle. More legalization stuff, can only help. 

Turned lower, found bottom ripped higher again. Headed right to 12.15 bo. If we do, im half out. 

Very unfortunate. Just gave it all up and then some during market dump. I exited all as we just couldnt pull it up. Not going to sit long through this mess overnight

11/30 DRC

 Last day of the month. Not much trading exactly to talk about. Big issue last week was speed. I was slow in almost all cases. Trying not to look too much into it. Took a few weeks off, its expected to take a bit to get back into the swing of things. Risk was main focus as a goal going forward. Correct size, consistent risk throughout every trade and setup for consistent results. That I did good with. Main things to focus on 1. Following entry criteria, making sure I trade what I am supposed to 2. Using correct size to reflect risk already determined by setup 3. Must be faster with ^^^ 4. Cut losses fast on adds. In and out, dont wait. 5. Follow management rules, up 1R/2R etc. 6. Take profits in 3rds.  7. Enter trade with small size if it is leaving without me. Big adds come in only if core is at price and action I want to see.  Market looks hot. Nothing but breakouts around. Gapping down a little, recovering already though into the open.
