PVAC Swing

 


Energy name, which sector is breaking out. Long half year range, now with MAs under us and anch vwap S, looks great for nice pop and recovery. Short float at 15. 


Decent gappy open to start. Not a thick traded name. But got above and im in. Market strong and helping

Built sideways back under level but above vwap for 15min, will add more with momo higher

Good big buy to start momo higher, but didnt follow through, is slow name so must deal. 

And more broke higher, added. 

Lost it right away back into vwap, didnt break, buyers held it seems.

Now making TL tight, looking to add again on break higher. 

And again momo higher with break. Added. Big as I want for now. 

Broke HOD with big vol. Looks good for trend. 

Making big rising wedge, riding at top TL, if we break 13 and TL im gonna have to take an early partial here, way over due for bigger pb.

Closed strong and held while market dumped. 

2nd

bit of a weak day pull in. Took 2 of 9 off to cover risk. 

Recovered ok, closed just above vwap. 

Sector saw a bit of selling today. Kinda rounding top. Need to be careful tomorrow, lock it in. 

3rd day

Took more off on big sell. We held well all day though, sideways. Exit point here expecting more upside though. 

5th day

Had its weakness finally. Failing to hold above bo level and dropped more got all out.

Sadly a small win. Options never really gained anything.

11/30 DRC

 Last day of the month. Not much trading exactly to talk about. Big issue last week was speed. I was slow in almost all cases. Trying not to look too much into it. Took a few weeks off, its expected to take a bit to get back into the swing of things. Risk was main focus as a goal going forward. Correct size, consistent risk throughout every trade and setup for consistent results. That I did good with. Main things to focus on 1. Following entry criteria, making sure I trade what I am supposed to 2. Using correct size to reflect risk already determined by setup 3. Must be faster with ^^^ 4. Cut losses fast on adds. In and out, dont wait. 5. Follow management rules, up 1R/2R etc. 6. Take profits in 3rds.  7. Enter trade with small size if it is leaving without me. Big adds come in only if core is at price and action I want to see.  Market looks hot. Nothing but breakouts around. Gapping down a little, recovering already though into the open.
