9/14 DRC

Market is all over for today. Lots of big red moves yesterday setting up a lot of breakdowns. Now the open is strong and we are spiking back above prev high of days even. I got a lot of shorts I was watching, but also a long of longs. There is not a consistent theme yet in this market other than, we have started a sell. Will it follow through or fail and get bought. So far edge to bulls. 

Need to stay patient today. If the sell will come, its not going to be from a spot im interested in. If the long is here, will need to see it early and fast as a lot of trades are already at levels I want to be long from, but if market is going to straight dump, gonna get caught in it and get chopped around. 

1. Let the trades come to me

2. Dont miss anything I should be in. Be ok with small size trades. 

3. Cut losers faster. I know when I should be getting out, dont hold til the end. 

DKNG WKHS APT AVGO FUTU FVRR GSX NET MCRB LI Cruise/Air

MCRB

Wide spread slow name. Market sold off at open, now recovering some and MCRB hit lod and HTF and held, popped up, trying to get in. 

Had to chase a bit but in. SPY ripping up. 

Right from entry dumped me right to stop, then screwed me on stop out too. Ass. 

GSX

Strong open, chopped a bit, got above vwap and htf level, dipped under, good tape bought up and im in, added as we go. SPY v strong.

Tape is so odd, just ripping higher out of nowhere. Cant get good add. Have to deal with what I got but right at new HOD. 

Got there with huge vol, still ok tape. Letting it run. Gap fil at 88.40

ATR is 6 and a half so not close there at all. Can explode still, big D turning point. 

Seeing selling and candles small with vol. Ready to take 1/3.

Buyers stepping and defending mid 60s. SPY turning lower finally. 

Changing my PT up to taking majority. Big vol here cnadles small and SPY turning. This is due for a deeper pullback. 9ma almost caught up. Then we blasted off through whole number.

And finally got 1min lo to take. Right at gap fill too. Will follow 9 for last bit. 

And no surprise now we decide to go parabolic. And then collapsed a point and a half all out. 

IPHI

Strong open, back to vwap and prev hi. Decent breakout range. Tape was great with reclaiming 106 and im in. Vol increase as well and SPY still trending up.

Added as we ticked up again. 

ONLY thing thats a problem is 1min MAs are split and mainly above price. Tape is king.

Ticked up again with good tape and added more. Big as I want now unless something crazy is here.

And right away back to my stop. And out.

But also right back in as its still HTF level. Saw big offer show but we took him out, buying still here just under vwap.

Same tape action as last time, buyers here stepping up and added as we got up. Odd sell at 106.20 might be hidden, will have to see again.

 Broke him added more. Needs to go now, above MAs and 5min caught up. Is turning point or im out. Dont need to take big hit here. 

1st pivot break at .40 bids kept stepping in front of each other up to .50, no trades happened. And back to entry. Hard to get a read here but edge is bulls. 

PA could not look better here and with tape and vol. Cannot believe we arent going. Barely holding on at breakeven.

Considering this a low vol pb after the reclaim of levels. Still cant break for me yet.

Huge buys again at breakout point. Did not get through, maybe hidden again. All out as it turned and lost breakeven point. 

JBLU

Airlines strong, then got weak and tested under ranges, failed and running back up. JBLU the best looking. 

All turning higher and saw huge buying on tape and got in. Right to stop again. 

And now all turned right back lower and all out. 

LI

Strong open, coiling, odd triangle. Ultimately above prev hi bo levels and building. Just now reclaiming with TL support from lod. Waiting on retest. Will take break out of HOD if it happens. 

Pull in is happening with SPY. SPY should see a big sell here as we have done nothing but move higher from the open. 

Broke with time and saw nothing, bids here stepped up and im in. Clear vol fail and tape well showing bids. Couldnt bust lower. SPY is not breaking lower but also not rising any more. 

Broke higher and added twice with bids still following. Pretty big. Is fav and 10 star. 

HOD at 16.82 but im looking for a move to 17 from this for D breakout. Structure is great again. 

And again, right to my stop. Seems to be a common theme in all of my trades today F me. Held though and back to be, if doesnt improve now, need out. 

And amazingly recovered and then some. Tried to add more as huge bid came in, but at Max BP. 

Into huge offer at .80 just below HOD and at triangle breakout. Vol huge increase so gotta hold. Up almost 2 R so not leaving with a loss here.  

Huge sell absorbed like nothing. Have to wait here for us to get through, seems likely. Seeing some other huge offers just above HOD too, might be a tough one to reach 17 but not impossible. 

Annoying action, Spiked to breakeven, then spike back u and broke HOD. Almost got out. 

Some really huge volume being done here but clearly buyers not winning. Made HOD on same vol as open, but we arent going anywhere. 

SPY now losing 9/20/50mas and still well above vwap, seems more likely for a pb, internals also telling me we want lower. Going to leave this with a win whether I feel like holding it or not. Some BS out here. 

And all out as it came back. Hoping for a reset.

Amazingly lost it all and reclaimed, still seeing big buys here above prev hi and vwap. 

WKHS

High and tight triangle after reclaiming prev hod. Had to momo scalp it. Terrible fills and bad adds but still huge breakout. 

Hoping to see HOD were past halfway there but will take scalp win if I have to. Huge offer sitting up there. 100k.

Hidden sell appeared and stepped lower. All out good win. Want better LT trade. 

DDOG

Strong open, chopped around a big but got above prev hi and rolled over back to test it under pivot. SPY strong and turned up. Tested under pivot, bought up right away with good tape and im in. 

Very low vol pb to test it. HTF MAs just under us now for S. 1min looks to roll over lower but it is weak. 

Added as we testd lower, didnt reach, popped up and broke mini range higher. SPY ripping higher. Internals v strong. Good turning point here. 

Just noticing w broke a triangle lower. Still vol super low here thinking it fails and pops. But a point to the bears now. 

Not popping higher atm needs to find it soon or out early. 

And out early, rolled lower. 

And of course, re entry rules applied and couldnt get filled as it ripped back higher. 

Did not break triangle TL, might get lucky with pb entry. 

Vol still super low on these attempts lower. I need to see the failed move lower 1st or else ill be long when it does come. May have to go with momo here well see what happens. At point right now. 

Got fail and spiked up and in and added. 

Added as we got into top TL. Vol is not as big as id like to see, market ripping still. 

.90 to break then whole number 84, then HOD PT at 84.40.

Added on TL break, now pivot  break and stop tightened. 

Not happy with vol here. Everything super tight under us, have to give some space. 

Turned dumped on me. All out. 

Seem to have a habit of being out at the low and then getting back in. Back in again as it reclaims even tight again. Still can go, SPY turned dumping lower but here we are back up to breakout point with slightly more vol 

Broke added more. into 84 now. Am huge. Huge tape confirm SPY also turn back up, needs to be gone, should not turn against me. 

And it did and all out

Im getting fucked today hard. Need to stop before I get any more pissed off. Can not believe the bs today. Have not been this upset at everything in a while.

 Good action good location, just didnt go. Killed me on exit.

Setup for re entry and didnt take it. Missed big win. 

GSX

Huge win. Should have been 2x as big, didnt get final add, took majority off trade and THEN went parabolic. Last 1/3 wouldve been held for another 2 hours and caught another few hundred off it. Did not follow process for taking profits. Does not matter how I feel about taking most off to lock in big win. Potential for bigger win always outweighs my own wants.

F. Good action, good adds, good entries, didnt go. Fine. BAD was not exiting sooner as I see I could have before whole number break, took way larger of loss than should have. Also add sizes were flat out too big. 9 star and non fav. Risked $160, lost $170. Should have been at least under $100 loss. 

2nd attempt was v good reset. Cannot believe it didnt go, looked so good. Exit was good.

Just a loss. Looked v good too.

Excellent start. Solid adds good location good action, pulled to stop and held, waited for it to pull up and get out with smaller loss if it got worse again, but didnt, so held through and then made move to HOD. 

Into big sell, back to breakeven, repeat of same, if worse get out, but didnt made it back up. and then back to be again where I got out and kinda screwed on exit. 

Exit was 100% ok. Failed 2 breakouts higher into huge sell and was going to give up whole profit and look to go negative. Fine. Good.

Problem was not getting back in. As it always mother effing is. 

Right away didnt go a penny lower. HTF zone still under, TL still under, MAs still under. Bids and tape still supporting idea. 

Re entry is at 2 spots. 1 we tested under TLs and engulfed higher right away, thats my back in que with stop under that candle, add with momentum. Or add on new HOD break. Another $1000+ win leaving without me.

Solid scalp setup, not low enough to get LT best price entry on, but clear momentum in the name. Terrible entries, slippage killed me so right away put off to the trade. Solid move anyways into hidden sell where I got out as we came off. Good trade no problems. 

DDOG

Nightmare. 1st entry questionable. At good location, but was after a triangle breakdown. But with lo vol so chance was here for something. Also far from vwap and looked like it wanted a test. Either way, at HTF level. 1st trade in and added. Couldnt go though so exited as it rolled over. Fine.

2nd trade. Re entry rules, after exit, we engulfed higher so TRIED to get filled and add no luck. This one wouldve left small win. Wouldve been +2R into breakout, that failed so stop tightened. Reset lower anyways so build it back up again with bottom TL new. Added as we broke things, but could not take off for me. 

Came to breakeven, never +1R but exited late anyways. And ofc that was the bottom for that moment and we engulfed higher from TL so right back in again. Added big and we did break TL and 1st pivot into 84 2nd pivot. Did not get through. 

So now it failed on me, engulfed lower and back past breakeven. Ticked lower and all out.

Once again bottom ticked out and engulfed higher again into 84. So now took breakout scalp.

And fucking again stuffs on me drops lower. Cannot make a clean move to save its life. I always look for trades to go and never come back and this shit just kept coming back. Death by paper cuts. 

Ended up grinding its way up to HOD, never breaking it. 

I traded this like I would have any other trade. Meant to lose. As long as size is correct these are losses im meant to take. 9/10 winners never act like this. 

Lots of this my own fault, a lot of it things I cant control. NOT a big red day at all, but a damn frustrating one.
