9/28 DRC

 Starting off annoyed already, market gapping up big, throwing a lot of setups out the window. Always sucks to see these breaks happening in premarket, usually means were going to give it up and close back under with another reset of the setup maybe in the future. Or maybe well take off right from the start and not come back. My focus is on the ones that havent broken yet. Those that have will have to pb and base out for a while for a long. 

SPY was in a falling wedge and were gapping out of it. Lots of names the same case. Some still havent made there move yet so hoping the market can at least hold up here. Last thing I want is a sell off to stick and hold under the levels. I want to see small dips being bought each time for longs to look good. 

Goal today is to let it come to me. Rules are in place for every trade. No extra thinking required. If market fits what I want, I trade. And when I trade I follow my rules. And win or lose I am happy.

Hour into the day. No trades. No good setups yet. Some names held levels and made decent moves, but were not following SPY. Was ugly to start the day, now reclaimed vwap in another straight vertical take off move from LOD to HOD. Waiting on some names to give me something. 

And half an hour later we have given it all back and lost vwap. Another straight line down, no pullbacks no nothing. From A to B to C. Making me still believe I need to be super patient. 


Still stuck around. Now an hour and a half before the close. Really not too much out there. Just skipped a few good looking momo scalps. Both were solid wins if I had taken.

Definitely feeling anxious about pulling the trigger on anything today. I think today turned into a sit and watch and read. Sit back and really pay attention to where I would be trading. And it seems I only wouldve had 3, but all were wins so thats good to see. 

Feeling better about actually trading tomorrow. Bullish scenario, overall acted bullish, seems to be going to finish being bullish. Might have a nice week here of some buying as we look to test top of weekly range again in SPY. We shall see we shall see. Ill be ready to click.

11/30 DRC

 Last day of the month. Not much trading exactly to talk about. Big issue last week was speed. I was slow in almost all cases. Trying not to look too much into it. Took a few weeks off, its expected to take a bit to get back into the swing of things. Risk was main focus as a goal going forward. Correct size, consistent risk throughout every trade and setup for consistent results. That I did good with. Main things to focus on 1. Following entry criteria, making sure I trade what I am supposed to 2. Using correct size to reflect risk already determined by setup 3. Must be faster with ^^^ 4. Cut losses fast on adds. In and out, dont wait. 5. Follow management rules, up 1R/2R etc. 6. Take profits in 3rds.  7. Enter trade with small size if it is leaving without me.
