9/18 Weekly Review

Total disaster. Missed several trades. Chopped to hell in a couple others. Missed wins everywhere. The simple way was to buy and hold until youre right. Obviously that doesnt work for me. Things would not go for me from where I wanted it. Had to settle with breakout orders everywhere and let it pullback 80% of the way to my stops. It was bad. Market was my enemy. I did not help myself out by following my rules, for trade management and re entry. Was a day to make a killing, but hard to get it.

Tough day. Tons of trades. Only trades I should have taken were on one name. Not getting in killed me again. Market simply wasnt my friend in other cases. Stop out, get back in, stop out, back in. Couldnt get a clean move to save my life. All in all the red day wasnt terrible but still no fun at all.

Can it get even worse? Yes it can. Another chop fest day worse than the last. No pullbacks. Straight vertical moves both directions and just when you think the market wants to make a move, it has to fake both directions 1st for 20 minutes and then itll do something. 90% of trades I took, I was meant to take. My wins I wasnt sized up in, no chances to add to them. The huge wins were either no fills or flat out didnt take or re enter.
I took 31 trades. 25 Losses. Of those losses, half of them turned to winners at some point very shortly after my exit. Another day where my biggest problem is NOT being in the trade, rather than being in a bad trade.

Can it get even worse? Yes it can. Its only gotten worse each consecutive day. Keep getting decent pops to start my trades, and then it just stuffs me. Cant catch a break. Taking tomorrow off to focus on review and find out what is going wrong
Well for starts I know im not exiting my trades fast enough when given warning signs. I keep holding on with hope itll come back in my favor. Im looking to hold and see it turn into a win, rather than hold and get out near be for small loss. Instead I end up taking the full loss
And its a real struggle knowing that majority of my trades have been turning into winners after im totally out of them. So theres this dissonance between exiting losers faster that turn into wins after im out, and exiting winners faster that turn into losers if I dont get out. Nightmare.
Need to stop trying daily goals. I cant stay focused on it. Im going to have to pick smarter weekly goals and stick to them day in and out. I can review mistakes from previous days and note not to repeat them, but need to be more focused on a weekly basis to fix things.
Ditched this week. Forgot about it. Worked on Process for Improvement blog.
