9/16 DRC

 Market in a very interesting spot. Had decently strong day and gave it up and then some into the close, now were gapping higher into top of range and currently selling off losing it in premarket. Im thinking short still if we cannot reclaim this. Now we have tested above the range, failed it, and now crashing lower. 

Majority of my plans were on the long side, but plenty of shorts as well. Hoping to see us turn around here and continue higher, seems like today will be a day to decide that.

Beatdowns popping, airlines broke out and look to build above, other big tech names breaking out, some bottoming looking to curl back up. Banks look like trash. Super coiled and ready to breakdown hard. 

As for my trading yesterday it was a super busy day. Tons of things in play and lots of trades to take. Watchlist was at 49 trades and I took 41. All but a few were meant to be. Couldnt get any good follow up and the ones I didnt get back in were the big wins. Thats why we gotta take all of them. Let the numbers play out. Mix of bad luck and lack of focus. Feeling much better today so lets get to work.

1. Get back in trades you need to get back into. 

2. Cut losers more efficiently when not acting correct. Dont give it those 2nd chances. 

3. Dont take anything not around your levels, unless big picture thesis still in play

ROKU DDOG BYND CHWY SPOT APPS Banks, Beatdowns

CHWY

Breakout market. CHWY ready to go above levels, great tape and market help. Tapped level lower and held ripped up and in bad fill though, added more as we retested and came back up. 

Swear, as soon as im in and loaded up market turns right lower and dumps hard after failing HOD break. All out lower, big hit.

Of course my out was the bottom now back up and broke HOD. I am back in and added same size, market also turning higher. Needs to go and not come back vol is great. 

Ran into big sell at .50 and broke him, looking for 56 for MM. 

Breakeven held a few times now, will be stop. And lost it too and all out. 

Truly dont know how I do, again bottom tick out and back up.

Reset later nice confluence with TL, market still up but not ripping. We hit levels on low vol attempt and good tape spiking back up. In and added as we got higher up. Looking for HOD break to take. 

Made 1st pivot break into 

40 where we see big offer. Broke him.

Stalling cant break higher. And then we do, HOD just above. 

Broke and stuffed lower right away, stuck holding. 

Cant believe i took only 5 cents from this trade.

Resetting again and back in, failed TL beak lower and got above levels again, settling for breakout entry and giving it some space to pb to add more. Market not strong yet but CHWY refusing to drop lower.

And now it dropped.

Cant believe it, stock is still giving me my setups. Failed its break lower, not surprised at all i bottom ticked out a 3rd time here. Ripped back up with vol as big as open, looking for in. 

LYV

Beatdowns strong overall, big pop, back to vwap and prev hi, looking long.

Slow vol on way down is good, basing under vwa and above level, I want to see the level hit or some clear tape before entry. 

Broke lower, reclaimed, now testing it again.

Not great entry but v good action. Chased a bit as we broke above vwap, looking to build more if it does retest. 

Add as it got to vwap and made new high. 

New hod waiting to take 1/3 and took. Market looking weak might want a break lower. Following 9 for other 1/3

Market is weak and dumping, LYV 9 break will also be a pivot will be all out here.

WORK

Weak, broke lod and htf level prev lo, retraced up to it and saw huge sell, broke failed and back under in and added. 

Already at lod, why cant all my trades lately be like this.

And spoke too soon, ripped up on me 7cents in a second for a loss.

MAR

Tight range above bo level, failed lower back up and reclaimed, trying to get in and in.

Made good push higher added more. 

I use H as a counter party, has just turned higher and ripped up well. 

Failed, all out as it broke lower. 

HOME

Weak built under all day, retesting it and vwap and HTF level, looking for sell. 

Got it in and added and SPY helping.

Not moving right away, vol also very low on move lower but tape was good with offers. Have to wait and see. 

Pulling back up to vwap on lower vol

Too much buying, all out. 

NVDA

Weak all day, a selloff name now as it looks to lose more, market starting to dump, NVDA clear pattern and under prev low, looking for breakdown entry. 

Made it break lower as SPY pulling back up, good vol and tape though, stop is if holding above 512, should go and never come back. 

Big offer here, may add. Pulled up to start.

Turned lower into lod and broke along with SPY weakness again. Plan is to gold as long as possible. Market to me seems like it wants another big selloff with no pb so expecting that here. 

SPY and NVDA pulling all the way back up. Could be spot to add, will be hitting TL from HOD.

And did end up adding, SPY popping higher well and internals follow but NVDA stayed weak, could get above entry and reclaim that breakdown level. Stop just above and now SPY turning lower, see if we can follow. 9ma on 5 holding us lower for now. 

Broke lower on new mini pivot and added a bit more, market is not helping or turning lower but NVDA still looking good. 

V odd, market does not seem weak at all atm but NVDA still dropping, now under all MAs. AMD and SMH helping with weakness.

Broke other pivot under 508, letting it go. Also testing TL from HOD again. Vol and tape is here must deal. 

Spiked up hard, market not stopping rising with strength. Taking small win as it got back above 510 no reason to take loss given all the strength. 

SPY

stupid moves. Giant megaphone, to top TL and prev hod and 342, looking short. 

Starting to see it turn and internals as well. In and added. Already back up though, and out on new HOD.

In back again though, internals turned lower hard and SPY still seeing that sell. Still cant do it. Have to avoid. 

LUV

Airlines exploded higher, like an ATR move with no pullbacks. Finally starting to see it turn lower and LUV the most oever extended, in and added. SPY now turning as well. Looking for a huge pb here. 

Lost 1 TL, other 20 cents out. 

Ripping back up again anyways small loss.

Hour break for stats. Review all trades and what not. 

WORK

Tight triangle, edge hard to see can go both ways. Seeing nothing buy buying but structure yells short. Tape yells long. 

Had big offer taken out, now some selling into bid that seems hidden. We are coiling around prev lod, but failed to drop it 3 times now and top TL on top of price. Thinking short squeeze here but short will take as well. SPY just dropped lower as well and lose vwap with huge vol. Internals follow. 

Not following weakness

In on breakdown of pivot and triangle, big bids here but taking out fine.  Added, and again as we kept going. 

.27 for 2nd pivot then LOD at .24 , HTF bo level at .22 

Back up with buying but cannot move higher yet, holding with stop above. 

SPY turned right back up, WORK followed a bit but stuff lower again so still in this. 

Broke the pivot, added, and snapped back up on me. 

RVOL at one and we have only done 1/4th of an ATR move today. Seems very likely we are ready for another move. 

Volume has been rising but really unable to drop anything. Still seeing buying. SPY turning back lower with internals. 

Tight mini range here, unable to get back up to .30s.

Ticking lower again into lod, just short of it, SPY still helping with internals. Stop will be if we cant stick under .30

And SPY and internals back up again, shouldnt rely on it too much I guess. 

Cant do it for me all out.

Back in, we broke higher into level and failed breakout from triangle, and huge offer showed up

In in front, but broke and then spiked higher as market dumping. 

Truly a terrible day. Repeat of yesterday. Terrible luck, terrible fills, exits and entries. Not taking the trades that actually go. Not getting filled on the big wins. Market faking me out both directions. No follow through. And yet you look at these charts and there are some perfect breakouts. Except I didnt take any of the good ones. Got stuck in all the ones that didnt go until I decided I didnt want it anymore

I look back at my screen shots. These arent bad trades. They are part of my setups. Im just getting royally screwed. On everything. Entries exits pullbacks, no fills. I dont know what to change. Something needs to be different.

The wins I did have just wrecked me today. LYV biggest win, 10star favorite, that I wasnt near as big as I wanted to be, but flat out couldnt be without chasing. No pullbacks. CHWY was a disaster and when the time finally came to get in and with a pb to get big, didnt take it. NVDA was a $300 win that turned into a +$20 trade. No follow through, pullback came all the way back on me. LUV a big miss. Decided to rip up one last time to get me out before dumping a point. LVS a huge miss on the no fill. 

All of my shit is coming from me NOT being in a trade. NOT being in a trade I shouldnt be.
