9/2 DRC
Did not do well yesterday. The grace of the market gods allowed me to finish green with a huge NVDA win, but I gave some back one poor exits.
The biggest problem was missing trades at the open. The ones I were watching were simply oto fast for me to get a good position on. Other times I flat out didnt get the fill. And I didnt go for the breakout entry which really hurt. And theres no reason not to go for it. Big picture idea. Tight open ranges. Just take the break.
There is no solution here. Its just doing the thing I need to do. Just get in. If I miss the 1st entry, Id still be getting in on the 2nd, or the 3rd, or the breakout. I have to break this habit of completely ignoring the trade just because I dont get my best 1st entry.
1. Do not miss a big picture trade. Get in the trade as you would normally. Either as it is working, or on the breakout.
2. Get out of a trade that is not working. Remember rule of if down -.5R, look to exit, not hang on for the last bit.
Market itself still looking strong, things are getting choppier though. Names not blasting off as often as they used to. Think were getting tired still. Definitely can still see some continuing some monster moves but for now they are slowing down. Beatdowns look like they may be turning up again so theyre back on watch. FANG flattening out. Watchlist is a little smaller than usual.

Beatdowns had strong open and lost it. DRI hanging on welll though above prev hod. Looking for turn.
Failed under gack above and in and added as we kept going.
Added again as we spoike lower and even fast back up. Beatdowns not helping.
Market not helping but tape is great here.
Spiked above vwap into pviot high at 88. Spready and volatile. Have to deal with it. HOD at 88.26 just above 88. Vol is great and tape still great.
Got out breakeven. Everything is just dumping. Doesnt feel safe.
Did dump lower on big vol, but didnt drop lower. Back in as it looked good again and added.
Right to 88 again. Neds to bust out. SPY dropped hard but didnt follow up now back up again. Other beatdowns helping here we should see it.
Spiked lower on low vol into HTF level. Tape still ok but not in great position.
Dropped on me took huge loss.

Getting n small size before HOD break. Looking for all day trend. Have to settle.
Made new HOD by a penny and back down to vwap. Other beatdowns ripping higher. Will look to add.
Held higher, bids stepped up. Added with new stop above vwap.
Looking to hit 90 here. Long ways to go. ATR would put us at 89.80 so will look to take around there as well. If not, just following trend.
Starting to get over extended from TL. WIll look to cover all on break of TL and would be above 89.
Market taking a breather and pulling in deep. DRI starting to see it too. Has given me stop to work with and will use it. And all out.

Strong open, lost with rest of beatodwn and reclaimed HTF and vwap. Testing lower now on low vol pb.
Fast but tape is good and in.
Came right to stop, bounced hard and back up. Added a few times.
Big sell showed, but take out.
Tested lower again and still coming up. New stop is in. We need to be gone. There is TL just above us. SPY has been on a tear at new HOD.
All out. Structure turning ugly now.

Is starting to break higher. structure still not A+ too much uncertainty I think. Wating for retest lower at vwap.
Big hidden sell at 15.65 lots of buying but unable to get past. Really want that retest lower.
Perfect re entry at vwap now with big triangle forming. Not breaking that .65 yet.
Broke lower hard back to HTF level under vwap and now MAs above. HTF MAs just under still so is ok. May need to see breakdown fail 1st.
And we are breaking lower. Will have to reclaim.

And in. HOD at 9.74 but looking for this to get to 10. Tight all day and coiling looking ready to explode. Same as other beatdowns today.
2nd thought, there is other D hi at 9.90 just short of it. An ATR move from lod puts us right at .90. WIll see how HOD break looks.

Also TL from LOD in play and failed to break lower. Tape is clear, market strong and im in. Added as we ticked up. Huge buying here we broke range high. Looking for vwap to take off.
.23 for 1st pivot break we went right to it with huge vol increase. SPY also new HOD and other beatdowns ripping.
Getting stuck at .22, lots of buying, cant get through. Tape clearly showing buyers winning.
And we get above. Now +1R, will leave this with money. Clear level at .20 to use as stop.
Minor dips getting bought with bids thick and stepping up each time. Should see vwap I think,
Will be tough, 2nd pivot break at .28 which is also vwap.
Urge to cover all just to be green on the day is strong. Must resist. Have to wait on vwap. Market still up and strong. I see no warning signs yet.

Got above though and into .28. Taking most off soon. And took off most.
Biggest sell candle weve seen so far. Still holding core. Will have to get out on break under .20 though. Damn and happened fast, all out.

Big drop at open, keeps getting back above prev hod. MAs tight, triangle and HTF MAs just under. Looks good. Thinking we can get a solid short squeeze here if we can break pivots just above.
Dead middle of todays value and already made an ATR move. Structure looks so good though. Volume very low on attempt to reclim back under. Think were still good but I want that failure.
Can turn into momo scalp if I see it. Getting into top TL now, vol growing. spread tight
And got it and in. Added as bids continued stepping higher. Vol growing and broke 1st pivot. should go.

139.30 the number to beat here for bigger move. Up +1R so stop set to win. Gotta deal with spread and vol though. Slow name with wide spread at times.

Up to breakout point. Just pennies short of breaking. Majority off soon. Was just momo scalp.
Up to it again, SPY did not drop any lower and curling up again. And we broke it. Most out soon. Following tape.
Was expecting something a bit more dramatic, no big pop here. Vol still steadily growing and relatively high.
Next pivot at 140.60 from early open. Then HOD at 144. Be very impressed if we got that.

Still havent taken. There is over extension line to work with just above 140. Will be all out if broken.
And amazingly we are going to break it. Above 140 now looking to get all out. A MM from lod to 2nd pivot break is to 141 so 140.60 to 141 is max spot to look to get out.
Market turning lower, can see sellers coming in on offer, and all out as we finally made new 1min low. Topped out at 140.50 very nice trade.
Amazing run still going, now at 142. Followed rules, no regrets.

Gigantic base under 1085, going for scalp long above. Whole market been exploding higher, should be huge once we get above. Hopefully get the fill. MAs super tight under it. Is right at breaking point with bottom TL just under.
Going to be quick in and out if I do get in. Fear of immediate drop after the pop higher.
And thats exactly what happened. Super weird action got me in, had a moment to take big win, didnt and held on, only to reclaim under 1085 and see bigger selloff.

Going to call it a day. Rough morning, as always sticking around, waiting to find something clean and clear pays off. Only mistake today was on DRI, not getting out faster. Paid for it. Gave me all the reasons I needed to get out early for small loss, instead took bigger one. Sucks.
Overall good. Today felt like 2 separate trading days. Bulls again refuse to let market drop and we got some real big moves higher today. No reason not to expect them to continue on.
