12/7 DRC

 New week looking strong to start. We are right at the apex of a multi week rising wedge. Past week we have been leaking higher, not getting over extended and following rising TL. Should be an interesting week to see what happens once we lose it. Itll be the 1st time since new ATH we will have seen a pullback. Have to be ready for short if its there. FANG names clearly not seeing this strength yet, might be a big warning sign.

Day trading has been a bit slow for me. Not seeing much out there day to day. Not getting my setups. Been focusing on my swings instead. Problem is since I am long all of them, whats gonna happen when market starts pulling back? Im sure ill be in trouble and have to look to exit some of them. I do have a plan for them all if that is the case. SPY losing prev lo would be the trouble point. 

I think im starting to hit my limit on trades I can be in at a time. Currently in 12 swings and getting difficult to take notes on all at all times. Either way doesnt mean they arent good or there arent more to take. 

Some good day trade setups out there as well. Im doing better recognizing which are good to swing, and which are good to day trade. Mainly consolidation and MA coils separate them. 

Goals today are to take the trades I am supposed to take. Day trades and swings. Dont skip the day trade if it is there.

Busy morning.

BIGC

open gave good cues but shook me out right before the move happened. Got in with calls and working well.

CRSR

Good cues and setup again, but damn slow. Great tape cues on break with big bid under, he broke I got out my adds but grinded higher still. Letting core go.

Pretty unclean slow action but made its way to PT at HOD. Had a chance to add, didnt take it, wasnt super clear. 

Made another push into HTF level, stalled, big sells entered all out. 


No other day trades the rest of the day. Focused on managing calls.

I have to say today was hard being able to do both. I was struggling to focus on day trades and debating on getting out of calls or not in some cases. I struggled to follow my plan and exited some calls right at the bottom of the day, and some now ripping higher. 

I did get a good trade on though with CRSR. 

Shame my adds on both did go well. Both got me out right as it turned and went higher, CRSR couldve been a 1k trade but when market shows me signs i do not like its time to get out before i get killed. Just how it was today. Will do it again tomorrow if it happens.

11/30 DRC

 Last day of the month. Not much trading exactly to talk about. Big issue last week was speed. I was slow in almost all cases. Trying not to look too much into it. Took a few weeks off, its expected to take a bit to get back into the swing of things. Risk was main focus as a goal going forward. Correct size, consistent risk throughout every trade and setup for consistent results. That I did good with. Main things to focus on 1. Following entry criteria, making sure I trade what I am supposed to 2. Using correct size to reflect risk already determined by setup 3. Must be faster with ^^^ 4. Cut losses fast on adds. In and out, dont wait. 5. Follow management rules, up 1R/2R etc. 6. Take profits in 3rds.  7. Enter trade with small size if it is leaving without me. Big adds come in only if core is at price and action I want to see.  Market looks hot. Nothing but breakouts around. Gapping down a little, recovering already though into the open.
