DIS Swing

 



Big gap up, tightened all weak, made real nice triangle. Looking for more continuation as market heads higher.

Entry
as we get above prev hi/bo point

Stop
if we hold below prev lo/intraday low if significant.

Expectations.
Shorter term play. Not a ton of range to trade off off, but patter very clear. Not sure how a stock may be able to move another 30% higher after a 30% move in a month and a half, but its all here. So ill find out.

187. Fib levels. 193 for MM from gap. 

Held well all during weakness, made big failed breakdown and saw breakout during market return. 

Pull in to prev bo level on low vol looks great, market still trying to recover, internals better.

Added as it turned up with big vol increase. If we can hit 175, looks A+

Came close, market pulled down, DIS with it, again low vol pb, holding higher, turning back up. 

And pulled back up to new hi into bo level. Should blast off here with what weve seen. Market also turning higher. Added closer OTM call.

                90 for breakout add to take off on 1st weakness. After ~177-178

Excellent start, went and broke 3 bo levels, then market turned and sold off for 2 hours and DIS followed back to vwap. It is holding and showing vol signs theres buyers, so it looks like I will be able to hold through. If it does get worse I will remove add. 

Might be turning into add situation. MAs getting tight above price, still above vwap, cant hold under. If we can find strength here as market is turning higher, this might be last chance to get good adds in.

Market ripping higher, engulfing here in DIS higher too, not quite there yet. I see add I want with risk.

Close to ITM call, stop will be if it fails to move higher from here. 

Just would not stop going down. Will have to exit all at this point if we dont recover. 

MFer would not pull up. Neither did the market. Just couldnt give me a single break of a recovery. Kept telling myself, I get out here im getting out at the bottom. 

Then we consolidated, made new range for 20mins. And broke the f low again. Had to bail. Just losing too much money. Pissed.

11/30 DRC

 Last day of the month. Not much trading exactly to talk about. Big issue last week was speed. I was slow in almost all cases. Trying not to look too much into it. Took a few weeks off, its expected to take a bit to get back into the swing of things. Risk was main focus as a goal going forward. Correct size, consistent risk throughout every trade and setup for consistent results. That I did good with. Main things to focus on 1. Following entry criteria, making sure I trade what I am supposed to 2. Using correct size to reflect risk already determined by setup 3. Must be faster with ^^^ 4. Cut losses fast on adds. In and out, dont wait. 5. Follow management rules, up 1R/2R etc. 6. Take profits in 3rds.  7. Enter trade with small size if it is leaving without me. Big adds come in only if core is at price and action I want to see.  Market looks hot. Nothing but breakouts around. Gapping down a little, recovering already though into the open.
